:loudspeaker: Announcement: Important Update on BOID Tokens

Dear BOID Community,

We have an important update regarding the support of BOID tokens on the EOS and Telos networks.

:arrows_counterclockwise: Transition to Telos Mainnet BOID Tokens

Effective immediately, we will only support BOID tokens on the Telos Mainnet. In the near future, we will also support BOID tokens on the Telos EVM.

:spiral_calendar: 12-Month Migration Period

From 20th of October 2024, you have 12 months to migrate your BOID tokens from EOS to Telos. After this 12-month period:

  • We will shut down the boidcomtoken smart contract on the EOS network.
  • All associated smart contract RAM will be cleared.
  • Important: BOID tokens remaining on the EOS network after the deadline will no longer exist.

:point_right: Migration Deadline: [20th October 2025]

Please ensure you complete the migration before this date to retain access to your tokens.

:rocket: How to Port Your EOS BOID Tokens to Telos

If you currently hold BOID tokens on the EOS network and wish to transfer them to the Telos Mainnet, please follow these steps:

  1. Send Your EOS BOID Tokens:

    • Transfer your BOID tokens on the EOS network to the following EOS account:
      • Account Name: boidcomtoken

  2. Include Your Telos Account Name in the Memo:

    • In the memo field of your transaction, include your Telos Mainnet account name.
    • This step is crucial for us to identify your Telos account and credit it accordingly.

  3. Minting on Telos:

    • Once we receive your EOS BOID tokens and Telos account information, we will mint the equivalent amount of BOID tokens on the Telos Mainnet to your account.

:alarm_clock: Important Dates to Remember

  • Migration Start Date: 20th October 2024
  • Migration End Date: 20th October 2025

Please make sure to complete the migration process before the end date to avoid losing access to your BOID tokens.
